One electrician.One van. Ozark, Missouri.

When you call Abbott Electric, Travis is who turns up and Travis is who does the work. Panels, generators, rewiring and the faults nobody else can find.

The Abbott Electric van, lettered with the business name over an American flag and the phone number
If you see this van in the driveway, that is the whole company.
He was particular about the neatness of his work and the box was very tidy. He was trustworthy and everything you would expect from a great American veteran!

Who turns up

No dispatcher, no rotating crew.

Abbott Electric is Travis. He quotes the job, he does the job, and he is the one you call afterwards if anything needs looking at again. For most of what people need an electrician for, that is simpler than dealing with a company.

He is a military veteran, and customers keep bringing up the same two things in their reviews: the work is tidy, and he cleans up before he leaves. One of them pointed out that the other contractors in the same building had not.

The work

Everything below is a job he has actually done.

Not a service list copied off a template. Each one comes from a customer review or a photograph of the finished work.

Panels and fuse boxes

Old fuse boxes swapped for a modern panel, service entrance included. He deals with the power company himself so you are not the one on hold.

Standby generators

Installed, wired to a transfer switch, and serviced afterwards. When the power drops the house keeps running.

Rewiring older houses

Circuits brought up to date, and a dedicated line where you actually need one instead of tripping the breaker every time.

Lights and fixtures

Ceiling fans, vanity bars, recessed cans, under cabinet strips. Ten fixtures in a day is a real day's work he has already done.

Faults and troubleshooting

Something tripping, flickering, or dead and nobody can say why. Finding it is the job before fixing it.

Shops and offices

Commercial work too, fitted around your opening hours rather than through the middle of them.

Panels and generators

From screw-in fuses to a box you can actually rely on.

Before. Screw-in fuses, still surprisingly common in houses around here.
A meter base and generator transfer switch wired neatly
After. Meter base and transfer switch. This is the tidiness the reviews keep mentioning.

Standby generators

Installed, wired through a transfer switch, and serviced afterwards. When the power goes out on your road, the lights and the freezer stay on.

On a panel replacement he deals with the power company himself, and keeps the time your power is off as short as he can.

Tidy, quick, and he cleans up.

Travis came into my tax office and did some electric work and was amazing! He was quick, efficient AND he cleaned up after himself! I've had several contractors in my office recently and they have not done that! He was polite and it was a pleasure doing business with him!

If Google would allow a 6 star review I would give one for Abbott Electric. Travis was able to fix all issues and install the additional 10 new fixtures all within the same day. Beyond that they cleaned up each and every bit of construction dust and debris that can be generated in the course of work like this.

I have an old house that needed a good bit of rewiring and upgrading. Travis knocked it out of the park. I finally have a dedicated circuit so my computer doesn't pop the breaker every time I plug it into my UPS. Very fair cost to me and he was professional, but also a great guy.
